Concern For Christians In Egypt

The Examiner writes:

Will riots in Egypt bring even more danger to Christains there? Many are asking such things as the unrest in that nation that has seen 300 deaths, and agitated world markets goes on.

John Bolton warned Coptic Christians in Egypt that their life could be in great danger while protests against Hosni Mubarak goes on. Bolton served as the United States Ambassador to the United Nations.

The “Copts of Egypt” as they are called, are the largest Christian community in the Middle East, as well as the largest minority religious community in the region. They makeup about 10% of Egyptian population. Most of them belong to the Orthodox Church.
