Orthodoxy goes Polynesian!

An Examiner.com article wrote: “For those who think that Orthodoxy does not take part in missionary activity, here is a fine example to debunk that myth. Some of the first missionaries of the Orthodox faith were St. Paul and the rest of the Apostles, which are obvious. Others, such as St. Patrick of Ireland and Ss. Cyril and Methodios are well-known as well.┬áRecently, Orthodoxy has made in-roads in Polynesia, and more specifically Fiji.”

The Metropolitan of New Zealand Amphilochios was in Rhodes during his summer intermission for the occasion of the first ordination of an Orthodox priest from the Islands of Fiji.
