Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops Convenes First Meeting; Proposes Office of Communications

January 24, 2011  []

Mr. Alex Machaskee agreed to act as a consultant to the Secretariat for communications. Also discussed was the question of fundraising and the means of funding the activity of the Assembly, its Secretariat, and the thirteen committees. It was unanimously agreed that financial transparency and accountability was of the utmost importance.
